City of Verbania

Verbania was created by the 1939 merger of the pre-existing municipalities of Intra and Pallanza. Its territory overlooks Lake Maggiore and extends from the lakeside to the hilly outskirts that rise gently towards the Alps.

Excursions on the lake, visits to the stunning gardens, walks in the surrounding landscape, a first-rate museum heritage and numerous examples of sacred art are the city’s main attractions.

Verbania is the ideal starting point for excursions to the Val Grande National Park, to Monte Rosa and to the Ossola Valleys. Furthermore, an extensive programme of events will make every stay unique.
